In preparation for tomorrow’s ICC World Cup 2023 encounter against Bangladesh at Kolkata’s Eden Gardens, Pakistan is thinking of making three changes to their starting lineup.

The main story making waves in the cricket community is the uncertainty surrounding all-rounder Shadab Khan’s participation. The 25-year-old who is playing in the match is still uncertain as of right now, and the ultimate decision will depend on additional testing that is slated for this morning.

Shadab Khan did not bowl in today’s practice session. Sources claim that he is not feeling well and is not feeling fully fit at the moment.

In the 26th match of the championship against South Africa, Shadab Khan struck his head on the ground in the opening over of the second innings.

During the game, the all-round player was brought to the nearby hospital for a Computed Tomography (CT) scan to determine the severity of his injury.

The management of the Pakistani team is now considering a number of lineup adjustments.

One of the best candidates to succeed Imam-ul-Haq is Fakhar Zaman, who might provide fresh energy to the starting team.

Salman Ali Agha may also replace Mohammad Nawaz in the starting XI.

Recall that after winning the first two games of this World Cup, the Men in Green have already dropped their last four games.

Pakistan needs to win the next three games and hope that other match outcomes go their way in order to argue for a final-four position.
