Peshawar Zalmi has officially announced a partial replacement for Afghanistan’s Naveen-ul-Haq for the upcoming ninth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL). Due to national commitments, Naveen-ul-Haq will not be available for Zalmi, and rising fast bowler Aimal Khan has been chosen to replace him.

In the Replacement Draft held last week, Zalmi had reserved their selection for Naveen. However, with Naveen tied up with national duties, the team has enlisted Aimal Khan to fill the gap. In addition, young fast bowler Shamar Joseph has been recruited as a partial replacement for England’s Gus Atkinson.

Peshawar Zalmi has proactively managed other player availabilities, making tactical decisions in the Replacement Draft. Waqar Salamkheil has been picked in the silver category to replace Lungi Ngidi, who will be unavailable for the entire season. Fast bowler Khurram Shahzad will be partially available, and pacer Arshad Iqbal has been designated as the replacement in the silver category during his absence.

Moreover, Gus Atkinson is prepared to replace Noor Ahmed, who is unavailable for Peshawar Zalmi due to international commitments.
