Cricket Australia (CA) has unveiled plans for Pakistan fan zones for the upcoming Australia-Pakistan white-ball series in November, heralding an exciting start to the men’s international summer.

This initiative, a component of CA’s Multicultural Action Plan, is designed to promote inclusivity and enhance the experience for cricket enthusiasts from various cultural backgrounds.

To facilitate a pleasant and enjoyable atmosphere, CA has allocated specific seating sections for Pakistani supporters at each venue.

These zones will feature prayer spaces and a variety of halal food options, addressing cultural requirements.

This move is reminiscent of CA’s previous declaration of India fan zones for the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, which encouraged fans to wear blue, bring traditional instruments, and included dedicated seating to foster a lively environment.

Information regarding ticket sales for both the Pakistan and India fan zones will be made available next week, ensuring an inclusive and exhilarating commencement to the men’s international summer.

On March 26th, Cricket Australia disclosed the itinerary for their ODI and T20I series against Pakistan scheduled for November later this year.

The three-match ODI series begins on November 4 at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, with subsequent matches in Adelaide and Perth on November 8 and 10, respectively. The last time Pakistan participated in an ODI series in Australia was in 2016.

After the ODIs, a three-match T20I series between Pakistan and Australia will take place. The last time Pakistan played a T20I in Australia was in 2022 during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup final.
