The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) is keen on bringing in the legendary West Indian batsman, Sir Vivian Richards, as a mentor for the forthcoming ICC T20 World Cup to be held in the West Indies and the United States.

Inside sources from the PCB have disclosed ongoing talks with Richards. The board values his expertise and insights, particularly in light of the T20 World Cup’s West Indies segment. His successful stint as a mentor with the Quetta Gladiators in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) has left a strong impression on them.

However, there’s an obstacle to navigate. Sir Vivian Richards has pre-existing media engagements during the World T20. Despite this impediment, the PCB is resolute in their pursuit of Richards’ mentorship. They are proactively seeking ways to resolve the scheduling conflict, underscoring their intense desire to have him guide the Pakistani team.
