ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan U-19 cricket team has arrived in Dubai to participate in both the upcoming Tri-Nation Series and the Asia Cup.
Under the leadership of Saad Baig, the team will compete in the Tri-Nation Series from November 13 to 26, followed by the eight-nation Asia Cup, which runs from November 29 to December 8.
The squad will hold a training session at Dubai’s ICC Cricket Academy on Sunday, from 2:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. local time, to prepare for their first match against the UAE, scheduled for November 13 at the ICC Academy.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) recently announced the team roster for the 50-over Tri-Series and the ACC U19 Asia Cup 2024-25. Saad Baig, who previously captained Pakistan in the last ACC U19 Asia Cup and the ICC U19 World Cup 2024, will lead the 15-player squad, which will be reduced to 14 for the Asia Cup.
The team includes six players with experience from the ICC U19 World Cup 2024: Saad Baig, Ali Raza, Haroon Arshad, Mohammad Riazullah, Naveed Ahmed Khan, and Shahzaib Khan. Tayyab Arif, another notable player, has previously represented the Pakistan U19 team as well.
