Rawalpindi: Sri Lanka set a target of 289 runs for Pakistan in the second ODI at Rawalpindi Stadium. Pakistan won the toss and chose to field first.
Batting first, Sri Lanka scored 288 runs for the loss of 8 wickets in their 50 overs. Janith Liyanage was the top scorer with 54 runs, followed by Kanchana Mendis (44), Sadirasmara Wickrama (42), Kamil Mashara (27), Pathum Nissanka (24), Kosal Mendis (20), Chath Asalanka (6), and Dushmantha Chameera (0). Vendido Hasaranga (37*) and Pramod Madhushan (11*) remained not out.
