Smith stated in the au’s The Unplayable Podcast that facing reverse swing in Pakistan was quite challenging.
“Facing reverse swing was a difficult task for us during our tour to Pakistan,” the batter shared.
“When I used to come at batting, I had to face fierce spell of reverse swing. Then, I had to change my plan,” he said.
“Shaheen and Hassan were too good on Pakistani pitches. They were unplayable most of the time,” he added.
Steve Smith lamented his inability to score hundreds in Pakistan. “It took me some time to understand swing bowling in Pakistan. That’s why I wasn’t able to score centuries,” he emphasized.
It is worthy to note that Australia won the three-match Test series against Pakistan 1-0 by winning the last Test in Lahore.
