The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) confirmed on Thursday that the top-order batsman Anamul Haque will replace the injured Yasir Ali in the West Indies.

After Yasir was ruled out of the series due to a back ailment received in a warm-up game, Anamul is anticipated to be eligible for the second Test. The first Test in Antigua begins Thursday evening.
Anamul Haque, who last played a Test for Bangladesh in 2014, will depart for the West Indies on Friday, with the second Test commencing on June 24 in St. Lucia.
Anamul bagged 1,138 runs in this year’s Dhaka Premier League (DPL), the most by any batter in the history of the List A tournament.

Bangladesh and West Indies will face each other in the second Test match starting on June 24.
