Daniel and Henrik Sedin, along with NHL rivals Roberto Luongo and Daniel Alfredsson, were among the six individuals named to the Hockey Hall of Fame’s class of 2022 on Monday.

Riikka Sallinen, a member of the Finnish women’s national team, and Herb Carnegie, a leader in hockey diversity, received the required 75 percent vote from the 18-member selection committee to be inducted into the Hall of Fame in Toronto on November 14.

The NHL’s Vancouver Canucks selected Daniel Sedin before Henrik Sedin with the second and third overall picks in the 1999 NHL Draft, and they spent their whole 17-year NHL careers with the Canucks.

Henrik Sedin is the franchise leader in various categories, including assists (830), points (1,070), games played (1,330), and power-play points (369).
