Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reiterated Pakistan’s steadfast support for the people of occupied Kashmir, vowing to stand by them until they attain their inalienable right to self-determination, as outlined in United Nations Security Council resolutions. Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony of Azad Jammu and Kashmir’s first Daanish School Center of Science and Technology in Bhimber on Wednesday, the premier reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to extending political, moral, and diplomatic support to Kashmiris until their right to self-determination is realized. The ceremony was attended by Federal Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, the Prime Minister’s Advisor for Political Affairs Rana Sanaullah, Chairman of the Prime Minister Youth Program Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, AJK ministers, members of the Legislative Assembly, and Hurriyat Conference leaders. The Prime Minister condemned India’s ongoing oppression in the illegally occupied territory, emphasizing that the sacrifices of the Kashmiri people would not be in vain. He also highlighted the unwavering commitment of Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir to supporting the Kashmiri cause. Referring to the establishment of the Daanish School in AJK, the Prime Minister noted that the initiative was conceived by former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif to provide quality education to talented children from underprivileged areas of Punjab whose families could not afford their schooling.
