LAHORE: Asim Jamil, son of renowned religious scholar Maulana Tariq Jameel was shot dead by unknown persons on Sunday. The police said that they are probing into the incident and seeing  the reasons behind the killing. The incident took place in Tulamba Tehsil of Khanewal district of Punjab. According to initial reports, Asim Jamil’s body was shifted to Tulamba Hospital. DPO
