Hundreds of users are complaining about the difficulty in sending messages in WhatsApp, a popular messaging and calling application around the world, including in Pakistan.

#Whatsapp is also trending on the social networking site Twitter. Due to the glitch people are complaining about not being able to see someone’s online status and last scene.

The WhatsApp down has affected Europe the most, however, parts of Asia and South America have also been affected.

This is not the first time that the application down, but before that, the app was malfunctioned in January this year and March last year. In 2019, the app was down for 6,000 hours due to various issues.

WhatsApp is used by 500 million people worldwide every day and users are expressing their frustration social networking sites Facebook and Twitter.

Note that, a few days ago WhatsApp has announced the payment transferring service in its app.

The facebook-owned app has announced the payment service through Facebook Pay but initially, it is only available in Brazil.

WhatsApp said that the payment service is free and no commission fee will be taken on it but for security risks, this will work by a six-digit PIN code or fingerprints to complete the transaction.

To use this service first you have to link up your debit or credit card to WhatsApp but the local partners will also be introduced soon, sources said.
