Due to the current ban on PUBG, Freestyle a PUBG mobile team from Pakistan was not given permission to participate in PUBG Mobile World League (PMWL) 2020

The team’s leader confirmed the news on his Instagram account that PUBG officials on Discord told the team being unable to play at the tournament due to the recent decision of banning the game temporarily in Pakistan.

“Unfortunately, the team won’t be allowed to play in the PMWL as long as the game is banned in Pakistan. We are very sorry about this, but we cannot go against the government’s laws. The team will still receive weekly attendance prize money even if you are not playing. Let’s hope the government unbans the game as soon as possible,” FS leader wrote on his Insta story.

Originally, the team planned to play in the PUBG Mobile World League (PMWL) 2020 using VPN, but PUBG officials told them that the use of VPN would be banned in the tournament, so the team is sitting out.
Recently, YouTuber and Esports player Ducky Bhai highlighted the effects of banning the game in a recent interview.
