Google Maps new update will change it into a social network app

After several Google attempts to launch its own social network, the multinational has announced that Google Maps will become a kind of social network where you can have followers and level up according to your behavior in the app.

The company explained that a set of categories would appear in the profiles about the things you ‘ve talked about the most or the locations you visit frequently.

If you do not want to convert your GPS navigation app, you can limit your profile so that nobody can access it or communicate with you.

With the next update, the latest functions will arrive over the next few weeks and depending on the country you are in.
