Generally, new smartphones are first introduced in different countries around the world and arrive in Pakistan after several weeks or months.
But Vivo’s new smartphone Y51 has been introduced in Pakistan for the first time.
In terms of design and features, Y51 is very similar to the smartphone S1 Prime, which was introduced in April this year.
The Vivo Y51 features a 6.38-inch Full HD Plus S AMOLED display with a fingerprint reader mounted inside the screen.
Inside the device is a midrange Snapdragon Qualcomm 665 processor, while the Android 10 operating system is integrated by the company with its Art Touch OS 10.
In addition, 4 GB RAM and 128 GB storage is provided which can be further expanded with an SD card.
The phone comes with a 4500 mAh battery with 18-watt fast charging support.
There is a setup of 4 cameras on the back of the phone.
The main camera is 48 megapixels with 8-megapixel Ultra-Wide, 2-megapixel macro and 2-megapixel depth sensor cameras, while the top has a 16-megapixel selfie camera in a notch.
As mentioned above, in terms of features, this phone is similar to the Vivo S1 Prime introduced a few months ago, but it had a combination of Android 9 operating system and Fun Touch OS 9.2.
Interestingly, the S1 Prime itself was like the Vivo X Lite.
The Vivo Y51 will be available in Pakistan in black, blue and white colours.
The phone will be available in pre-order at Rs 36,999 till September 18 and will be available in the markets from September 19.
