WhatsApp now lets you mute chats forever
WhatsApp has introduced a new feature that will help you to mute...
WhatsApp groups are an easy way to engage your contacts and gather them under one roof for various purposes. The procedure of making a WhatsApp group on the web is similar to making a group on your smartphone.
Step 1: Open the WhatsApp web on your computer or laptop. You can log in to your WhatsApp account by scanning the QR code.
To use the QR code, open WhatsApp on your smartphone. Then tap on the menu (dotted icon) and select WhatsApp Web. Now, scan the code.
Step 2: On WhatsApp web, tap on the menu dotted icon. Or, you can click the new chat icon.
Step 3: You will see various options. Click on the new chat icon.
Step 4: Search for or select contacts on the new screen to add to the group.
Step 5: After that, click the green arrow.
Step 6: Once you add your contacts, enter a group subject (name).
Final step: Click the green checkmark once done.
Note that your subject limit is 25 characters only. You can add both letters and the emojis to your subject. Furthermore, you can add a group icon by either uploading a photo or by capturing a photo. You can even do a web search to add an image.
The social media app has earlier introduced a new feature that will help you to mute a contact or group forever.
