Apple Launches new iPhone 12 With 5G Revolution
Today Apple Store is down, which means it's just a few short hours...
Tech giant’s Apple biggest event held on October 13 has launched the most-awaited iPhone 12 with 5G technology.
A new dark blue color iPhone 12 was launched on October 13 with 5G support.
However, various rumours about the new launch came out to be true that the new series would come without a charger or earphones inside the box.
At the launch event, Apple confirmed that the entire iPhone 12 lineup would not include EarPods or a power adapter in the box. However, buyers will only get a USB-C to Lightning cable.
Moreover, Apple took the covers off its much-awaited line up and presented iPhone 12 Pro Max, Pro series, the iPhone 12, and the mini one. The two new non-Pro iPhones will be affordable whereas the other two will be the Pro series of the year.
Apple stated that it is not including chargers or EarPods with the latest launch line-up due to environmental reasons.
“Across the iPhone family, we’re removing the power adapter and EarPods that often go unused, but including the fast-charging USBC to Lightning cable that most people need. That shrinks packaging and more boxes per shipment mean fewer shipments overall. We’re also transitioning our manufacturing partners to renewable energy. Altogether, this eliminates over 2 million metric tons of carbon emissions annually..” Apple website read.
Furthermore another notable change was seen in the box. It was lighter and slimmer due to the absence of the charger and EarPods. Apple noted that if they provide the phones in smaller retail boxes, the process would help in reducing carbon emissions.
Apple is also removing chargers and EarPods from the older iPhones including the iPhone XR, iPhone 11, and 2020 iPhone SE.
