MediaTek has revealed its new upcoming chipset MT6893 which is fabricated on 6nm technology that features Cortex-A78 cores that works on clock rate speed up to 3.0 GHZ. Well the company yet to confirm its final product name and other details. Specs of this un-announced chipset has also appeared at the Geek bench benchmarking platform. Probably, it could be the same chip that MediaTek is planning to launch soon.
The leak reveals that the MediaTek MT6893 is an octa-core processor that includes a single Cortex-A78 core working at 2.8GHz, a triple Cortex-A78 core ticking at 2.6GHz, and a quad Cortex-A55 core working at 2.0GHz. The SoC is equipped with a Mali-G77 MC9 CPU for handling graphics. These specs propose that the MT6893 will offer better performance than the existing Immensity 1000+ chipset.
The chipset’s on Geekbench lists reveals that it has scored 4108 in the single-core test and 11,204 in the multi-core test. The citation seems to belong to a testing device that is equipped with 8 GB of RAM and Android 11 OS. The base frequency of the chipset is declared as 2.0GHz.
MediaTek also announced the immensity 700 mid-range chipsets. Alongside the 7nm MT8192 and 6nm MT8195 SoCs for the fourth coming chrome book with the high end capacity.
