In February month, Sony proclaimed the Snapdragon 865 mobile stage powered Xperia 1 II and Xperia Pro smartphones. Both phones launched first time as the company’s first 5G-ready handsets. Along with these phones, the Japanese tech giant also revealed the Xperia 10 II mid-ranger driven by the Snapdragon 665.
It was recently reported that the Snapdragon 720G chipset powered Xperia 10 II Plus was canceled so that the company could focus on 5G.
According to the reports, Sony is working on two phones powered by the Snapdragon 875 and Snapdragon 690 chipsets.
The flagship phone could be launched in the market as the Xperia 1 III. Sony is up till then to offer a quad-camera setup on its smartphone. It is gambled that the Xperia 1 III could be armed with quad rear cameras.
