Samsung freshly launched its up-to-date flagship smartphones in the Galaxy S-series, which contains the Galaxy S21, S21 Plus, and S21 Ultra.
All three devices are powered by the company’s new Exynos 2100 SoC or the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, reliant on the region of availability.
Even though the Samsung Exynos 2100 is a big development over the company’s Exynos 990, the SoC still lags behind when related to the Apple A14 Bionic SoC that powers the Apple iPhone 12 lineup.
Now, reports are coming that the South Korean giant is working on a new SoC with the purpose to beat the performance of the Apple A14 Bionic. Additionally, it is also being said that this new smartphone SoC could be launched in the first half of this year.
Previous reports said that the company is working with AMD for improving the graphics performance on its upcoming Exynos SoCs. The early performance results are also striking and put the SoC ahead of Apple A14 by a significant margin.
