WhatsApp new policy: Elon Musk urges people to use Signal

Tesla owner Elon Musk has recommended the users to use Signal App instead of WhatsApp after the new policy was announced.

Taking to Twitter, he urged his followers to use the messenger app ‘Signal’.

His tweet comes after WhatsApp announced its new privacy policy according to which data will be shared on Facebook.

It seems like a lot of people are switching towards the Signal platform, the platform was not prepared to handle a great number of new users. Many users were not getting verification codes. “We are working with carriers to resolve this as quickly as possible. Hang in there,” Signal said on Twitter.

‘Signal’ is a popular messaging service created by the Signal Foundation and Signal Messenger LLC. The app offers one-to-one and group chats, files attachment, voice notes, images, and videos, and others.
