Coronavirus vaccination drives are in full swing in many countries. Tech giant Apple has come in support of the drive creatively.

Apple revealed a new design of the syringe emoji. Earlier, a syringe emoji was made available that showed some drops of blood coming out of it. But, the latest syringe emoji shown is empty now.

It is being suggested that the change has been brought to clear the misconception that vaccinations involve blood.

The new emoji is available on Apple’s iOS 14.5 beta.

Moreover, Apple has also introduced some other emojis. A new emoji are being added from the Unicode Consortium’s Emoji 13.1 release. That includes skin tone options and new smiley faces and hearts.

Bearded emojis have also been added to allow “Person: Beard”, “Man: Beard” and “Woman: Beard.”

Apart from that, some new emotions such as “Exhaling Face,” “Face with Spiral Eyes,” and “Face in Clouds”, “Heart on Fire”, and “Mending Heart” have been added as well. Above all, the headphone emoji has been updated as well.
