Apple plans to launch iPhone 13 Mini despite poor sales of iPhone 12 Mini

American tech giant Apple launched the iPhone 12 Mini smartphone along with other iPhone 12 models the previous year, making it the first lineup to have a ‘Mini’ model.

According to the latest reports, Apple is planning to launch the iPhone 13 Mini later this year as a part of the iPhone 13 lineup. However, the naming of the lineup could be different, with some reports hinting at iPhone 12S.

However, as it turns out, the iPhone 12 mini did not do as well as it was initially expected to. Recent reports have said that the market performance of the device has been so underwhelming that Apple is even flirting with the idea of discontinuing the iPhone 12 mini.

Apple iPhone Mini has accounted for only 5 percent of the total iPhone 12 series sales. Despite such poor sales, the company seems to be committed to this Mini model.
