Tech giant Google’s new project ‘Wolverine’ to increase hearing ability

Tech giant Google currently has two wearable devices in the market Pixel Buds and Glass Enterprise Edition, A new leak reveals that the company is working on a device that enables users to isolate audio on an exact person or source.

As per reports, Google’s parent company Alphabet’s X Moonshot Factory is currently working on a new wearable which is codenamed “Wolverine.” The device is seemingly focused on improving the hearing ability of users.

Also, the reports are coming that the project is apparently under process since 2018 and it lets users “focus on one specific speaker in a group setting with overlapping conversations.” It is attained through an in-ear device that is “packed with sensors” and microphones.

The other capabilities of the device are beyond speech isolation, and the team is energetically working on increasing its utility. Though, the other applications of this new project haven’t been spelled out by the team.
