The Xiaomi Redmi 10 is a new range of budget phones that has been making waves in recent weeks. Although no official launch date has been announced, Xiaomi mistakenly released the official promos for the Xiaomi Redmi 9 successor in a press release. It goes over the design and specifications of the most recent Xiaomi cheap phones.

The blog post featuring the Xiaomi Redmi 10 has now been removed, but not before it was noticed up by various media sources. The only thing lacking from the leak is availability and pricing, whether it was an honest mistake or a tactic to gather interest.

For the entry-level category, the Redmi 9 series was the first to promote 1080P screens. The Redmi 10 series takes things a step further with a 90Hz display. Furthermore, Redmi 10 is featuring a 6.5-inch Full HD hole-punched panel with Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

The MediaTek Helio G88 will be the first to launch in the Redmi 10 series, replacing the Helio G35. A 5000 mAh battery powers everything, and it supports 18W wired and 9W reverse charging. The phone comes with a 22.5W charger. The Redmi 10 runs MIUI 12.5, which is based on Android 11.

The shell is made of plastic and is painted in tones of holographic Sea Blue, muted Carbon Gray, and pure Pebble White. A side-facing fingerprint reader is hidden inside the display on the side. Inside an emphasised camera crater are four lenses: a 50MP wide, an 8MP ultrawide, and two 2MP sensors for portrait and macro pictures.

Mono-firing speakers are still in use. The Redmi 10 comes in three different variants: 4GB+64GB, 4GB+128GB, and 6GB+128GB. The series has already been seen in a store, so the official debut shouldn’t be too long away.
