Xiaomi is planning to extend its affordable smartphone collection in India. The debut of the Redmi 10A smartphone in the country has been verified by the Chinese smartphone manufacturer. Xiaomi has confirmed that the Redmi 10A would be released in the country on April 20.

Successor to Redmi 9A, the company launched Redmi 10A in China last month. Xiaomi is expected to launch the same variant in India. The company has also confirmed that the smartphone will be available online on Amazon India website. Redmi 10A will come in blue, black and silver colour options.

Redmi 10A specifications

Redmi 10A is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor coupled with 4GB/6GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage options — 64GB and 128GB. Users can further expand the storage up to 512GB by adding a microSD card.

The Redmi 10A has a 6.53-inch HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1600 pixels. The dual SIM phone runs on Android 11 with MIUI 12.5, which is the company’s own skin on top. The rear camera of the Redmi 10A is a 13MP single lens camera with an LED flash. A 5MP front camera for selfies is also included in the smartphone.

The budget smartphone comes with P2i coating which makes it splash-resistant. The phone is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 10W charging support.
