Samsung’s next generation of foldable phones is on the way, and comprehensive information leaks have become more prevalent in recent months.
Several leakers have already discussed the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s characteristics, but Yogesh Brar’s latest claim contains the whole spec sheet.
Some of the details are consistent with prior leaks, while others contradict previous accounts. Let’s have a look at it.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 4 is believed to resemble the foldable Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra.
Yogesh claims it will sport a 7.6-inch inner screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and an AMOLED panel with QXGA+ (widescreen) resolution.
The exterior display will be an AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 6.2-inch diagonal dimension, but with HD+ quality.
According to previous reports, the display would be more durable this time, with compatibility for the S Pen but no built-in slot.
There will be a 16MP under-screen selfie camera on the main display, but no information on enhancements over the previous model.
A 10MP camera will be hidden inside a punch-hole cutout on the outside screen.
We’ll receive the freshly announced Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 CPU with 12/16GB RAM and 256GB/512GB storage under the hood.
A 50MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultrawide lens, and a 12MP telephoto lens with 3x zoom will make up the main camera.
This contradicts previous reports that the S22 Ultra would have the same 108MP camera sensor.
The battery capacity will be 4,400 mAh, with 25W fast charging capabilities, which is the same as last year.
Overall, it appears that the Z Fold 4 will only receive minor updates to its CPU and camera.
There is no information on a release date yet, but a teaser campaign is expected to begin in June.
