Redmi K60 (Poco F5) is Ready to Launch Soon, Expected Price & Specs

Redmi has already started working on the next generation of high-end K series phones, which will be called the Redmi K60 lineup. So far, leaks and certifications have shown that there will be three models in the series: the Redmi K60, the Redmi K60 Pro, and the Redmi K60E.

Digital Chat Station, a well-known leaker, put pictures of the Redmi K60’s retail box on the Internet (DCS). This means that the company has started stocking units and making a lot of them. This means that the product is almost ready to go on sale. The box looks a lot like the boxes for the Redmi K50 series.

The Redmi K60 was supposed to come out by the end of the year, but Xiaomi had to delay its 13 series, so the K60 family won’t come out until January 2023.

A tech blog called Xiaomiui that focuses on Xiaomi found internal MIUI builds of the Redmi K60 series. These showed that the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro will come out with MIUI 14, while the K60E will stay with MIUI 13. This month, MIUI 14 will come out at the same time as the Xiaomi 13 series.

Redmi K60 Pro Leaked Specifications

Leaks suggest that the Redmi K60E will have a Snapdragon 870 or a Dimensity-8200 chip. Both the K60 and the K60 Pro should have Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Gen 2 chips.

The vanilla K60 is said to have a 6.67-inch, 120Hz AMOLED screen and a 5,500 mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging. For stable photos and videos, its main camera should have a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS).

On the other hand, the K60 Pro should have the same 120 Hz AMOLED screen with a higher resolution (2K). The main camera is also said to be 50 MP, but it will use Sony’s IMX766 sensor. As of now, we don’t know any more about the Redmi K60 family.
