Instagram “Notes” feature, which allows users to submit their thoughts, has been expanded to Europe and Japan.

Adam Mosseri, Instagram’s CEO, announced the microblogging platform Twitter, adding, “Notes are now available in Europe and Japan.”

Mosseri addressed the fact that many people “complained about not having access to the feature yet” in a video.

“Sometimes when we launch a new feature, we launch it only to a small percentage of people or just to a specific country,” he said.

“And sometimes, in the case of Notes, we launch something everywhere we can but have to hold back in a few countries if there’s more work to do.”

Mosseri further stated that the film “has done really well” in Asia, North America, and Latin America, “specifically with teens.”
