Apple coming MR headset could include health ,wellness experiences
Apple MR headset will include well-being features such as exercise and meditation....
Apple CEO Tim Cook ordered the debut of the mixed-reality (MR) headset, according to recent reports, despite the designers’ warnings.
According to the reports, Tim Cook agreed with operations chief Jeff Williams, in pushing for the release of a first-generation mixed-reality headset device this year, despite the preferences of the company’s design team.
Apple has not yet released the headsets, despite the fact that the business has been working on them for several years. Yet, earlier sources have indicated that the smartphone will most likely be unveiled this year at WWDC.
But, according to recent sources, the company’s industrial design team has warned that gadgets in this category are not yet ready for introduction.
Apple’s operations team, on the other hand, planned to release an early version of the product in the form of a VR-focused headset that lets users watch 3D videos, undertake interactive workouts, or make FaceTime chats with virtual avatars.
Tim reportedly agreed with Jeff Williams, overruling Apple’s designers’ reservations and pushing for an early launch with a more limited product.
According to reports, Apple’s headset has been in active development for seven years. It is Apple’s first new computing platform, designed solely by Tim Cook.
The company expects to sell just about a million units of the headset during its first year of sale at a price of $3,000. According to rumors, Apple will also offer a low-cost tablet.
