iPhone 17 rumored to feature slimmer design and OLED display
After the recent launch of the iPhone 16, rumors are already swirling...
Apple is gearing up to launch a more affordable mixed-reality headset, potentially priced around $2,000, next year, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. This new model aims to be significantly less expensive than the current Vision Pro headset, which retails at $3,500.
Cost reductions for the upcoming headset will likely result from using less expensive materials, a less powerful processor, and the elimination of the EyeSight external eye display.
Looking ahead, Apple plans to release a second-generation Vision Pro in 2026, along with smart glasses similar to Meta’s Ray-Bans and camera-equipped AirPods expected to debut in 2027.
Additionally, Apple is reviving its smart home initiatives, reportedly developing a budget-friendly display akin to an iPad that would enable users to watch TV, make FaceTime calls, and run various apps. There are also plans for a more advanced tabletop device featuring a robotic arm, potentially priced around $1,000.
In the meantime, Apple is preparing to launch the next generation of MacBook Pros later this month, which will be powered by the company’s M4 chips, designed for enhanced AI capabilities. These new MacBooks will be accompanied by new iMacs and desktop computers in various colors.
