Samsung has recently expanded its Galaxy Ring availability to several Gulf and Eastern European countries, including Bahrain, Bulgaria, Kuwait, Oman, Romania, Qatar, and the UAE.
Launched globally at the Galaxy Unpacked event in July, the Galaxy Ring is Samsung’s first fitness-focused smart ring integrated with Galaxy AI technology.
The Galaxy Ring is available in three colors: Titanium Black, Titanium Silver, and Titanium Gold. It’s equipped with Samsung Health AI features to track various health metrics.
This includes sleep analysis, such as movement, sleep latency, snoring detection, and monitoring of heart and respiratory rates.
A key component of the Galaxy Ring is its photoplethysmography (PPG) sensor, which detects irregular heart rhythms and provides real-time heart monitoring. The device also generates health reports that show metrics like Energy Score.
The Galaxy Ring includes a three-sensor system with an optical bio-signal sensor, a temperature sensor, and an accelerometer, supporting detailed health data through the Samsung Health app. The device’s battery can last up to seven days on a single charge.
The Galaxy Ring costs AED 1,499 in the UAE, RON 2,225 in Romania, and BGN 879 in Bulgaria. It comes in nine sizes, from size five to size 13, with a sizing kit to ensure a perfect fit.
