Huawei has officially revealed plans for a launch event on December 12 in Dubai, where it will debut the highly anticipated Huawei Mate X6 foldable smartphone for global markets.
Themed “Unfold the classic as a new era of flagship foldable excellence begins,” the event promises to showcase the Mate X6’s cutting-edge features, aiming to redefine standards in the foldable smartphone category.
Initially launched in China, the Huawei Mate X6 boasts a 7.93-inch LTPO 2.0 foldable display that delivers an immersive viewing experience when unfolded. The device also features a 6.45-inch LTPO 2.0 outer display for convenient use when folded. Both displays support a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals and responsiveness.
For photography enthusiasts, the Mate X6 includes a triple-camera setup featuring a 50MP main sensor, a 40MP ultrawide lens, and a 48MP telephoto macro sensor, offering versatile shooting capabilities.
Powering the Mate X6 is a robust 5,200mAh battery with 66W fast charging support. It also includes 50W wireless charging, 7.5W reverse wireless charging, and 5W reverse wired charging for added convenience.
In addition to the Mate X6, Huawei is expected to unveil several other flagship products at the event. These include the MatePad Pro 13.2 tablet, FreeBuds Pro 4 wireless earbuds, and potentially a new Sapphire Gold edition of the Huawei Watch Ultimate.
While Huawei has confirmed the Mate X6’s global debut, it has not indicated plans to release other Mate series devices internationally. Further details about the availability of its latest innovations will be shared at the December 12 event.
