The OnePlus 13 has officially made its global debut, following its successful launch in China two months ago. Building upon the solid foundation laid by the OnePlus 12, the new flagship model features notable upgrades in design, performance, and functionality.

Design and Display The OnePlus 13 introduces a sleeker and more ergonomic design, featuring a 2.5D quad-curved structure that blends a flat profile with gently curved edges, making it easier to hold. Despite having a large 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED display, the device maintains a compact size. The display boasts a resolution of 1440 x 3168 pixels, ensuring sharp and vibrant visuals. Additionally, the adaptive 120Hz refresh rate adjusts automatically for smoother performance, helping to conserve battery life.

One of the display’s standout features is its peak brightness of 4,500 nits, which makes it highly readable even under direct sunlight. The OnePlus 13 is available in three elegant color options: Black, Blue, and White. The blue variant stands out with a premium vegan leather back, adding to the device’s visual appeal.

Internals and Software Under the hood, the OnePlus 13 is powered by the cutting-edge Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, based on a 3nm process. With two high-performance cores running at 4.32 GHz and six efficiency cores at 3.53 GHz, the device delivers powerful processing power while being highly efficient. To support multitasking, the OnePlus 13 comes with up to 24 GB of LPDDR5X RAM and offers storage options ranging from 256 GB to 1 TB via UFS 4.0.

The device runs Android 15, with the OxygenOS 15 overlay, providing a seamless and intuitive user experience. OnePlus has also promised four years of Android updates and six years of security patches.

Camera The OnePlus 13 sees a significant upgrade in its camera system. It sports a triple-camera setup with each lens featuring 50 megapixels. The primary sensor includes an f/1.6 aperture and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), bringing improved photography. It’s largely similar to the OnePlus 12’s primary sensor, enhanced with software tweaks.

The telephoto lens offers 3x optical zoom, OIS, and a f/2.6 aperture, ideal for high-quality zoomed-in shots. The ultra-wide lens offers a 120-degree field of view and an f/2.0 aperture for wide-angle shots.

OnePlus has continued its collaboration with Hasselblad to ensure vibrant and accurate color calibration in photos. For selfies and video calls, the front camera features 32MP with an f/2.4 aperture, supporting 4K video recording at 60fps.

Battery and Charging The OnePlus 13 comes equipped with an impressive 6,000 mAh silicon-carbon battery, ensuring extended battery life, despite the device’s slim profile. The phone supports 100W wired charging, reaching 50% in just 13 minutes and achieving a full charge in roughly 36 minutes. Additionally, it supports 50W wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging, offering users flexibility in charging their devices.

Pricing The base model of the OnePlus 13, with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB storage, is priced at $899 and is exclusively available in Black. For those seeking more power, the 16 GB RAM and 512 GB storage version is priced at $999 and is offered in White and Blue. The top-tier 24 GB RAM and 1 TB storage variant will be launched soon, with pricing to be confirmed.
