Xiaomi 16 series to surpass Apple with superior display technology

Xiaomi is already making headlines with leaks about its next flagship smartphones, even before the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is officially launched. Reports from China suggest that the Xiaomi 16 Pro and 16 Ultra will feature a 6.85-inch LTPO OLED display with a “2K+” resolution.

This display will have ultra-thin, symmetrical bezels on all four sides, making it sleeker than any iPhone. Unlike previous models, the screen will be completely flat.

Suppose Xiaomi sticks to its usual release cycle. In that case, the Xiaomi 16 Pro is expected to launch in October alongside the standard Xiaomi 16, while the Xiaomi 16 Ultra may arrive about a year later. All three models are likely to be powered by Qualcomm’s upcoming flagship chipset, the successor to the Snapdragon 8 Elite.

The Xiaomi 16 Ultra is anticipated to be the ultimate photography smartphone, building on the rumored advancements of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra.

While official details are still unavailable, the leaks have already created excitement among tech fans. If these rumors hold true, Xiaomi’s next-generation flagships could set new benchmarks in display quality and mobile photography.
