Incredible Cameras are Coming in New Xiaomi Phones, the company announced the availability; of the Xiaomi 12S series on that day via its Weibo account. Leica’s partnership with Xiaomi was revealed earlier this year; highlighting the company’s current camera-centric focus. Even though Xiaomi has historically produced decent camera phones; the company wants to compete more favourably with the hottest products; from Apple, Samsung, and Google. Competitors Vivo and OnePlus recently teamed up; with Zeiss and Hasselblad, with successful results.

The Xiaomi 12S series—previously touted as the 12 Ultra; will most likely be the first product of that partnership; with the Xiaomi 12S Ultra serving as the firm’s flagship camera phone. It will most likely have a 6.6-inch 1440p AMOLED screen; with a constant refresh rate and a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 CPU. It is also rumoured to include a quad-camera setup that is comparable to; if not superior to, the 11 Ultra. We anticipate a 48-megapixel ultrawide lens; a 48-megapixel periscope lens for portraits and zoom; a 50-megapixel main camera, and an unidentified fourth sensor.
