The production company behind a death-defying video that showed an Emirates ‘flight attendant’ on top of the Burj Khalifa has stated that it is “very, very real.”
Emirates, based in Dubai, released the film on August 5 to celebrate the UAE’s removal from the UK’s red list.
Real or fake? A lot of you have asked this question and we’re here to answer it.
Here’s how we made it to the top of the world’s tallest building, the @BurjKhalifa. https://t.co/AGLzMkjDON@EmaarDubai #FlyEmiratesFlyBetter pic.twitter.com/h5TefNQGQe— Emirates Airline (@emirates) August 9, 2021
It depicts a woman dressed as an Emirates flight attendant expressing her delight at the transfer. She’s holding posters that say elevating the UAE to the UK’s amber list has put the airline “on top of the world.”
The video then pans out to reveal the attendant standing atop the Burj Khalifa, the world’s highest structure.
Also, Nicole Smith-Ludvik, the flight attendant, identifies herself as a “world traveller, skydiver, yoga instructor, hiker, explorer.”
Moreover, the skydiver wrote on Instagram about the Burj Khalifa stunt, saying, “This is, without a doubt, one of the most amazing and exciting stunts I’ve ever done”.
