High Treason Case verdict against former military ruler General Retired Pervez Musharraf sparked outburst in national politics.
However, this decision tensed a cute little girl, and she has demanded justice for her ‘Musharraf Uncle’.
In her video, that has gone viral on social media, Eshaal Talha starts with her introduction.
She gave the reason for making video, as she was very disturbed with High Treason Case verdict against Musharraf Uncle.
“I was watching news with my father and it was about Mushrraf Uncle.” Eshaal said.
She recalled the paragraph 66 of the verdict that reads as“We direct the Law Enforcement Agencies to strive their level best to apprehend the fugitive/convict and to ensure that the punishment is inflicted as per law and if found dead, his corpse be dragged to the D-Chowk, Islamabad, Pakistan and be hanged for 03 days.”
Eshaal termed it as unprofessional.
“Everybody in Pakistan is sad,” said Eshaal. “This is really weird, she added”
“Let me tell you who exactly he is, the man who fought for our nation will not be a traitor.”
She appealed the judiciary to do jsutice wirh Musharraf
“I love my country, I love Musharraf Uncle, Pakistan Zindabad,” She concluded.
Musharraf Verdict
Let it be known that Musharraf was tried in absentia for high treason handed a death sentence under Article-6 of the Constitution.
The verdict was split 2-1, with Justice Shahid Karim of the Lahore High Court agreeing with Peshawar High Court Chief Justice Waqar Ahmad Seth and Justice Nazar Akbar of the Sindh High Court dissenting.
The 169-page detailed judgement authored by Peshawar High Court (PHC) Chief Justice Waqar Ahmad Seth stated, “A dictator stays in power only as long as he manages to subvert the will of his people.
The usurpation of the functions of government and other organs of State established by the Constitution tantamount to subversion of the Constitution.
Exercise of undue influence over judiciary (such as making them cease office and/or take fresh extra-constitutional oath) do tantamount to subversion of the Constitution.
