Sniffer dogs are are being trained to help detect coronavirus.
The charity Medical Detection Dogs are already used to sniff out cancer, Parkinsons and low blood pressure now the dogs will soon be deployed to the front line in the battle against Coronavirus pendemic.
Amid the current pandemic virus Charity Medical Detection Dogs, based in Milton Keynes, is working with the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine and Durham University on the project.
Charity boss Dr Claire Guest said we had to find out first that how dogs can “safely catch the odor of the virus from the COVID-19 patients”.
Dr Claire said “In principle, we’re sure that dogs could detect Covid-19.”
