‘Code 8’ getting popularity on Netflix these days

Code 8 is getting more popularity these days and is widely being watched on Netflix.

The science fiction movie was released in 2019, but it is still getting prominence.

The movie landed on Netflix on 11^th April, and in less time, it joined the ranks of Tiger King and Ozark.

One reason behind the popularity can be the cast. Robie Amell and Stephen Amell, helped financing the movie as they raised $2.5 million on the crowdfunding site Indiegogo.

Code 8 was released in 2016. However, it progressed and was made into a complete movie in 2019. Sources said that code 8 is currently ranked third in Netflix’s list of 10 most popular shows and movies in each country.

Another reason of its popularity is that people are at homes during complete lockdown in most of the countries around the world. They want something to watch. Also, people are searching for more science fiction and genre movies.

Code 8 is a science fiction short film, it involves criminal activity, action, thrill and science. The story revolves around a young man who lives a life of poverty. The man struggles to pay for his mother’s medical treatment. He indulges himself in a criminal world.

The movie has been directed by Jeff Chan whereas  Stephen Amell , Greg Bryk , and Robbie Amell worked as actors.
