Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have hired President Reagan’s former security chief to protect them in America. 

Sources said that the couple has hired the firm for £7,000 per day. The Duke and the Duchess are being provided 24/7 protection from the firm GDBA.

The security company is owned by Gavin De Becker. He served as the Reagan administration. His company provides security to A-listers for Hollywood. Mr. Amazon boss Jeff Bezos, Tom Hanks, Jennifer Lawrence, Madonna, Cher, and Barbra Streisand are said to be his clients.

A source reported to the international news agency, “Harry and Meghan have full confidence in de Becker’s firm and they come highly recommended.

 “They are the biggest security firm in LA and by far the most respected. 

“They aren’t cheap, but if you want the best you have to pay for it.”

 Gavin De Becker, 65, is in good terms with Meghan’s Oprah Winfrey. He was also a good friend of Star Wars actress Carrie Fisher.

Meghan and Harry are living at Hollywood tycoon Tyler Perry’s mansion in Los Angeles with their son Archie.

It is not yet clear who is paying the security bill. Some friends of Meghan say that the couple will bear the security expense on their own.
