Lady Colin Campbell has claimed that the ‘warning’ regarding Meghan Markle’s relationship with the Royals came a few days after her marriage with Prince Harry.

According to the international news source, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended a garden party on 22nd May 2018 for Prince

Charles’s 70th birthday. The author Lady Colin said that “something happened” at the event, which “didn’t bode well”.

The author Lady Colin is releasing her book Meghan and Harry: The Real Story later this month.

She said, “I can’t repeat it exactly, it’s in the book, but what I can say is, something happened at the very first garden party at Buckingham Palace to celebrate Prince Charles’s 70th birthday and all of his charity work.

“Something happened there on Tuesday, and I was told about it on the Wednesday evening at dinner by a household name with impeccable palace connections.

“We were all absolutely gobsmacked and astonished, we all thought this doesn’t bode well.

“It was not a good harbinger, we were all hoping against hope the information was wrong, but of course it was accurate.”

She also said that the Royal family wanted Meghan to be a “success”.

She said to the local news source, “I knew the tremendous amount of hope the Royal Family invested in Meghan being a success.

“Virtually everybody I know, including my royal friends, the wider aristocracy, wanted Meghan to be a success.

“But it quickly became apparent the ride may not be as smooth as everybody had hoped it would be, and it would not be as quite as positive as everybody had hoped it would be.”

Another biography of Harry and Meghan, named “Finding Freedom”, is likely to be released later this year.

Authors Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand said they wanted to tell the “definitive story” about the Sussexes.

They said: “The aim of this book is to portray the real Harry and Meghan, a couple who continue to inspire many around the world through their humanitarian and charitable work but are often inaccurately portrayed.

“Our mission has been motivated by a desire to tell an accurate version of their journey and finally present the truth of misreported stories that have become gospel simply because of the number of times they have been repeated.

“It is thanks to our sources that we have been able to share the definitive story of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.”
