A woman has been ordered by Fujairah Civil Court to pay Dh50,000 for cheating on her husband.
The husband got to know about his wife’s extramarital affair after he noticed a drastic change in her behavior without any apparent reason.
The woman was being watched by her husband as he followed her after she left the house. The husband discovered that she was having an affair with another man.
To hide her relationship, the woman started to take the other man to different restaurants and areas designated for families.
The woman and her boyfriend were arrested by Fujairah Police after a thorough investigation, hearing witness accounts, and evidence.
The court convicted them and the Public Prosecution charged them with having an illicit affair.
The husband filed for divorce afterward.
The court wanted them to reconcile the matter, but the husband demanded a divorce.
The court ruled in the husband’s favor, ordered a divorce, gave custody of three children to him.
