After Indian artist Sushant Singh Rajput, a Japanese actor Haruma Miura, 30, has reportedly committed suicide. The news became one of the top trends on Twitter.
According to details, the Japanese actor Miura was found hanging at his condominium in Tokyo’s Minato Ward on the day. Investigative sources said that he was later found dead at a hospital.
According to the Metropolitan Police Department of Tokyo, circumstances suggest that he has taken his own life.
Sources said that Miura’s manager visited his home as he did not come to work. The manager found the actor hanging in a closet. An apparent suicide note was also found from the spot.
Miura has worked in local drama series. He made his debut in a television drama series of Japan Broadcasting Corp. (NHK)’Aguri’ in 1997. He became a successful actor due to his performance in “14-sai no Haha” (14-Year-Old Mother), a Nippon Television Network Corp. drama series broadcast in 2006, and movie “Koizora” (Sky of Love), released in 2007.
Apart from acting, he worked as a singer and as an actor in stage plays.
His fans expressed grief on social media.
