Social media celebrity Waqar Zaka has warned education minister Shafqat Mahmood to solve grading issues faced by Cambridge students within 72 hours. He warned to protest if measures are not taken.
The popular host of BOL News reality show ‘champions’ has become a leader and a mentor of youth in Pakistan due to his appreciating efforts he put to solve various issues faced by youngsters. He has become the voice of youth in Pakistan.
This time, Waqar has decided to raise voice against grading criteria of O’levels and A’levels under the Cambridge International Examination (CIE). He has warned Shafqat Mahmood to take full advantage of his designation and solve the matter within 72 hours.
What does Waqar Zaka demand from Shafqat Mahmood?
Waqar has put forward his two demands he said Shafqat Mahmood should work on.
- The Cambridge board should offer grades to students of O’levels and A’levels as per the grades provided by schools of the respective students.
- Universities in Pakistan should grant admissions as per the grades provided by schools/teachers.
However, he urged that if things will not work, he will not stop himself to gather on streets with millions of students.
Waqar recalled that he already has a respectable image in front of youth due to his endeavors. He said that he worked hard to urge authorities to unban YouTube and PUBG. He also recalled his experience when he raised his voice against the education system in Sindh. He said, referring to Shafqat Mahmood that he will gain massive support if he starts protesting.
