‘Pakistan needs a National Sex Offenders’ Register’ Sanam Saeed

The intense topic of motorway rape case is making rounds on media. The inhuman incident has outraged celebrities, including actress Sanam Saeed.

Sanam Saeed took stepped forward to demand justice for the victim. She raised her voice to demand a quick investigation into the matter.

‘Cake’ actress took to social media and shared a tweet by PTI’s official page. The tweet mentioned Chief Minister Punjab’s views he had given in response to the CCPO’s statement in a press conference. The tweet mentioned,

“CCPO’s statement was irrelevant and irresponsible. IG Punjab has issued show-cause notice to CCPO and asked him to respond within seven days. After that suitable action will be taken. Chief Minister Punjab Usman A Buzdar in his press conference on the motorway incident.”

Sanam Saeed wrote, “Now, implement sensitivity training please and tell us how you are going to take more steps to keep us safe.” She went on to urge the government to not let background checks surface after a tragic incident had taken place. “Pakistan needs a National Sex Offenders’ Register.”

In another tweet, Sanam retweeted a post showing photos of the culprits. She questioned, “Why? Why does the system fail us? Why do rapists roam freely?”

On the other hand, Bushra Ansari has demanded authorities concerned for exemplary punishment for rapists. She urged for exemplary punishments so that the rapists could experience the similar pain as of victims.

She wrote, “Thinking wat to ask n what to think..just want the rapist to be alive..not to be hanged..they should live the rest of their lives , with the pain n helplessness with broken legs broken arms and without the organs which destroy women and their souls..”
