Sexual Exploitation Allegations Against Babar Azam Create Storm On Social Media
Pakistan cricket team skipper Babar Azam found himself into a controversy as...
Popular batsman Babar Azam landed into hot water as a girl from Lahore alleged him of harassing her.
Hamiza addressed a press conference at Lahore Press Club and alleged the national team captain sexually and physically abused while in a relationship before entering into the cricket. She girl said they both were school-fellows and also lived in the same vicinity.
She claimed that Babar Azam proposed to her in 2010 and she eloped with Babar for court marriage in 2011 because both she and Babar’s families did not agree to the proposal.
However, Social media users have come in support of Babar Azam. Twitteritis say that Hamiza is misusing the Metoo movement.
The Hashtag #MeToo is among the top trends on Twitter.
See how Babar’s fans have reacted:

At this moment, I’m not even surprised.
We live in a society where anyone can blame anyone of harassment in the name of #MeToo.
We believe in you Bobby, we’re with you. 💚🇵🇰 @babarazam258 @TheRealPCB pic.twitter.com/8VXwpbgJvv
