The girl who accused cricketer Babar Azam of sexual harassment was reportedly attacked by the unknown.
As per the details, named Hamiza Mukhtar was attacked near Kahna. At around 8 am on Sunday, two unidentified motorcyclists opened fire on Hamiza’s car. The attackers fired four shots at Hamiza’s car.
The woman who accused Babar Azam, fortunately, survived the shooting, but she filed a charge of the deadly attack at Kahna police station.
On Saturday, Lahore sessions court has ordered Babar Azam and his family to stop harassing Hamzia Mukhtar, the woman who was allegedly raped by the Pakistan cricket team captain.
Earlier, on behalf of Babar Azam, Advocate Mubashir Sajjad had submitted the power of attorney. Meanwhile, the police were unable to submit a complete report in the court as the accuser did not show up at the police station when called.
National cricketer Babar Azam, who has been accused of rape, submitted his lawyer’s power of attorney against the woman who had made serious allegations against the cricketer.
According to the details, on behalf of Babar Azam, Advocate Mubashir Sajjad has submitted the power of attorney. Meanwhile, the police were unable to submit a complete report in the court as the accuser did not show up in the police station when called.
The police have appealed to the court to bring both the parties face to face so that the court could provide time for a full report. The court granted the police plea and adjourned the hearing till December 14.
Earlier, a court in the provincial capital has asked for comments from the police regarding the case by December 4.
