A video showing singer Bilal Saeed fighting and assaulting his brother and sister-in-law went viral. Netizens praised him for his act. But, actor Osman Khalid Butt seems unhappy with this.

Several Twitter users reacted to Bilal Saeed’s video and they praised him, as they thought the move was “precisely what women asked for when they demanded equal rights.” ‘Bari’ singer was trending on Twitter and hashtag #BilalSaeed was making rounds.

However, actor Osman Khalid Butt decided to clarify their concept about feminism. Taking to Twitter, he wrote, “Following the #BilalSaeed hashtag and – just so we’re clear, he instigated it. This is physical assault, not meme fodder. Please understand this is not normal behavior; it cannot be condoned or played for a laugh. You don’t hit women. Please, have some decency.”

He added, “You can choose to hate feminist activism, but don’t let that hate spring from ignorance. In plainer words, no, 𝘱𝘭𝘦𝘢𝘴𝘦, this is not what women mean when they’re asking for equal rights.”
