After falling off a moving local train in Mumbai, an 18-year-old kid was hospitalized with fractures. The teenager sustained serious injuries.
Apparently hitting a signal pole in the Thane area, the event happened on Thursday morning while the youngster was hanging out of the train, according to a Government Railway Police (GRP) official.

The event happened on Thursday when a laborer from Bhaskar Nagar in Kalwa named Danish Hussain Khan lost his balance and tripped over railroad rails.
Along with three other commuters, he was hanging out of a small, locked door of a motor coach (which is attached between compartments) of the suburban train.

Social media users shared the smartphone footage of the incident that some bystanders had captured.
Khan can be seen in the footage tripping over rails and running into a pole.

According to GRP, the victim was transported in an auto-rickshaw to the neighboring Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Hospital at Kalwa within 20 minutes of the accident.
He hurt his hand and his leg. His state is reportedly steady.
